Officially it’s going to be the New England Patriots vs the Los  Angeles Chargers, February 3, 2019 for Superbowl LIII and just like with Valentine’s day and all holiday’s really it needs to be  ganja-fied! (Yes the Superbowl is a holiday.) So I figured, regardless of who your rooting for, why not share with you all step by step how I make my Superbowl worthy Cannabis infused dip:

What You’ll Need:

  • 8×8 square serving dish
  • 1 can re-fried beans
  • 1 can beanless chili
  • 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese (2 cups)
  • 8 ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese original
  • 1/2 stick cannabutter

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 420 degrees (it’s a stoner thing).
  2. 1st layer the re-fried beans across the entire dish.
  3. On the stove heat up that chili, it’ll save you time.
  4. 2nd layer shredded cheddar.
  5. 3rd layer cubes of cream cheese like so:
  6. 4th layer that heated chili.
  7. Next melt the cannabutter and pour over the entire dish.
  8. And finally the 5th layer shredded cheddar.
  9. Add jalapenos on top (optional)
  10. Now cover your dish with foil and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  11. Serve with Tostito’s tortilla chips.

That’s it and it’ll have your entire Superbowl squad lit!

I’ll also have some sandwiches, pizza and chicken wings out because this munchie gives you the munchies. I hope you Enjoy!!

Killer Kush Lollipops

It’s October!!! And Halloween is only 30 days away. Which got me thinking that I need to make those Cannabis Infused Lollipops I mastered last year, because Halloween is not just for kids and all the 21 and up trick or treaters love these cannabis infused lollipops.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 lollipop molds, I bought this skull one from Party City
  • lollipop sticks, also available in the same store.
  • 1 pack of Jello of color and flavor of your choice.
  • 1/2 stick CannaButter (Cannabis Infused Butter).
  • 3/4 cup white sugar.
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup.
  • Nonstick cooking spray aka Pam.
  • cooking pot.

Instructions:

  1. Spray your lollipop molds with non stick cooking spray generously.
  2. On the stove top with your cooking pot over a low-medium flame mix the sugar, corn syrup and CannaButter together stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves completely and starts to boil like this:
  3. At that moment look at the time. (Be patient you don’t want to ruin the butter by turning up the heat.)
  4. Add the Jello of your choice and mix constantly for exactly 7 minutes. It’s going to seem lie the longest 7 minutes of your life but it’s totally worth it!
  5. And here’s where mastery comes in. (my first time was a disaster) Pour your liquid candy into your already cooking sprayed lollipop molds.
  6. The lollipops will get firm pretty fast and so when it starts hardening add your lollipop sticks.
  7. A few minutes later they will be totally solid and your done! Take them out the molds and enjoy!

Hope you all have a great Halloween! And as always stay lit fam!

The Best Part of Waking Up is THC in my Cup

My morning routine always includes a cup of coffee. And it’s even better with a little THC in it! Want to join me in a Cannabis Infused Coffee? Well here’s step by step how to make your own:

Cannabis Infused Coffee (oh and cereal too)

The simplest way to infuse your coffee

And when I say coffee I mean cafe con leche. Which is espresso made in a percolator:

Followed by adding heated, on the stove not the microwave, milk and sugar too it. Anything else is not coffee by my standards. And if you’ve never tried it, you’re welcome in advance.

Back to the Infusion

The simplest way to infuse your coffee is to add cannabis milk to it. Which you can also add to your cereal or whatever else you add milk to like milkshakes! Best part? It it so simple to make too!

Making cannabis infused milk is very similar to making cannabutter. You’re going to need:

  • 1 cup of milk. (You can use which every milk you like but keep in mind that THC  binds to fat, so whole milk will create the strongest infused milk. )
  • 2 -3 grams of your favorite ganja
  • saucepan
  • container to pour your milk into and later refrigerate

Instructions

  1. Decarboxylate the bud by grinding it, putting it on a parchment paper and then in the oven at 220 degrees for 30 minutes to pull out the terpenes and activate the THC.
  2. On the stove top heat your milk in the saucepan at on a low flame. Do not allow it to boil.
  3. Add the ground decarboxylated cannabis to the heating milk.
  4. Let the two cook together, uncovered on the stove for at least 30 minutes. Stirring every now and then to prevent from boiling, burning on the bottom and stopping the milk from forming a skin on top. If a skin does form stirring will remove it.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool with the cannabis still in the milk. While it cools it will still infuse, so it doesn’t hurt.
  6. Once cool strain through a strainer or cheesecloth into the container you’re planning to store the milk in.
  7. Finally refrigerate.

The milk taste great in coffee and cereal. And if you happen to be lactose intolerant or only like black coffee you could always add a tincture to your coffee to get the same effect.

Hope you enjoy! Let me know how it goes when you try it out in the comments below!

Wake Bake and Brunch with CannaBrunch Burgers

Back when I first made cannabutter last year it occurred to me that anything can be make into an edible. After all these years of having my free spirit killed by domestication, now I wake up everyday and start breakfast. Last year, the day after making my first batch of cannabutter actually, I woke up to make some eggs but I didn’t have any real butter just cannabutter, so I thought to myself, “what the hell,” and just fried up some eggs in the cannabutter. To realize later that those eggs had us laid out on the couch watching TV all day seriously baked. And so since then, this has turned into a thing. Saturdays now, when there’s time to couchgate all day, are for Waking, Baking (with the morning smoke sesh) and Brunching! And in my house this CannaBrunch Burger is a fan favorite:

Serving portion: 4 Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 eggs
  • Adobo (with the red cap)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of Sargento sliced cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips of bacon
  • minced garlic (I use the one in the jar)
  • 4 rectangular frozen hash browns
  • 1 1/2 sticks of cannabutter

Directions:

  1. This is really pretty quick so the first thing I do is set my oven to 420 degrees.
  2. Then I grab the ground beef and put 2 egg yolks in. Then 2 tablespoons of diced garlic. And season with Adobo.
  3. By now the oven beeped so I put my 4 frozen hash browns in the oven.
  4. Then I get my hands dirty and massage the ground beef mixing the garlic, yolk and seasoning in while forming 4 patties and then placing them in the freezer.
  5. Next take those 8 strips of bacon, cut them in half and in a frying pan I fry up the bacon with 1/4 stick of cannabutter.
  6. While the bacon is frying I take another 1/4 stick and butter my burger buns.
  7. By now the bacon is done. So I take them out add another 1/4 stick of butter to the bacon grease and use that bacon butter mix to fry up the burgers. I can only do 2 at a time and I only flip them once. So by the time to make my second set of patties I add another 1/4 stick for the 2nd round. And yes here is where you melt the cheese onto the patty too.
  8. Next I take my hash browns out. They are nice and brown my now and I cut them up into strips.
  9. All while in another frying pan I using cannabutter to fry up 4 eggs over easy.
  10. Last part just stack your buttered bun, burger patty with cheese, hash brown strips, 2 strips of bacon cut into four, the fried eggs and the top bun. Boom! CannaBrunch is ready to serve!

I like to serve these with some fruit and french fries on the side but you can do whatever you want really. I do promise you however that all who indulge in this brunch is sure to have a baked, stoney day! Hope you enjoy!

Who’s Ready to get Baked with Martha and Snoop

It’s official! Martha and Snoop are back on VH1 this August 1, 2018 at 9/8c and I’m so excited! If you’ve never seen it before, I have no idea what you’re waiting for? With guests like Post Malone, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa.. food cooked expertly by Martha Stewart herself and Snoop Dogg! You don’t want to miss this show, trust me. It is awesome!

Every episode Martha + her guests and Snoop Dogg + his guests team up together and both of them teach us how to cook a part of the meal they all share potluck style at the end of the show. And they cook everything from chicken and pork chops to lobster and fish and so much more.

The last episode aired November 15th, 2017 just in time for the holidays and they made Brownies:

Which ironically (because I had no idea they were making brownies) I had made earlier to enjoy just for that episode (cannabutter infused of coarse):

I did mines ala mode but Martha’s recipe was better. And I’m not the only one cooking with cannabis watching/starring on this show!!! I’ve seen them use some “herbs” while cooking on Martha and Snoops Potluck Dinner like Snoops spices:

“OG Onion Powder, Garlic Powder Hash, Lawry’s Seasoning Skunk Salt, Johnny’s Sativa Salt, Paprika Haze and Black Pepper Kush.”

-Snoop Dogg

Their Halloween special (Martha’s and my favorite holiday) Oct 16th looked pretty litty too, if you know what I mean! And the bloody brain shrimp cocktail appetizer was perfect for the holiday:

Working with Snoop Dogg it comes as no surprise that:

Of coarse I know how to roll a joint

-Martha Stewart

And aside from being a master chef, Martha is an excellent bartender. Yeah Snoop, gin and juice is fine but Martha throws down. All her drink recipes look delicious:

Who thought of putting Martha and Snoop in the kitchen together?? A genius because these two make a great team. Here’s a clip from one of my favorite stoney episodes from last season to give you a feel for how great this show is:

Check it out Aug 1st and if you need an edible to munch on while watching I recommend my Canna-Lovers Popcorn that even Martha Stewart approves of….hopefully!

Stoners Guide to Valentines Day

  • Flowers, Chocolates, and Love are essentially the Valentine’s Day classics and with it just around the corner let me “ganja-fy” this holiday for you all:

Flowers-Give her the Flowers she REALLY Wants:

Cannabis has got to be the sexiest flower and there are actually some strains that are known to improve your sex life.  For example, Girl Scout Cookies has a mood-boosting high that is known to cause arousal.  So if your on your fifth date with someone, looking to cook them a romantic candle lit dinner and have a great deep conversation. This strain will transport you somewhere hot and exotic. The perfect combination to take things to the next level, if you know what I mean.  (5 Cannabis Strains For 5 Specific Types of Sex)

And how you wrap those flowers can be very important too! If your in the LA area I highly recommend stopping by the Hitman Coffee Shop, 659 South La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036 and grab your Valentine a heart shaped blunt by the infamous Weavers.

It’s a golden heart blunt! What pretty pothead wouldn’t love it?!?!

Chocolate-Cannabis Infused Chocolate Covered Strawberries (or bananas work too):

There’s not a girl in this world who doesn’t appreciate a man who cooks! And lucky for those who don’t cook, to make infused chocolate covered strawberries isn’t rocket science.

First things first, you need to make some cannabis coconut oil. I recommend 1 cup coconut oil to 1 cup cannabis but you can add more cannabis to make it stronger or less for a lesser effect. Whatever you choose this is how to make it : (Directions compliments of Leafly)

Infused Oil Directions: (It’s like making cannabutter but with coconut oil)

    1. Grind the cannabis.  You can include the entire plant, just the flower, a little bit of both — this is all a matter of preference. Just keep in mind that anything small enough to fit through the strainer will end up in your finished product, so again, do not grind your cannabis to a fine powder.
    2. Combine coconut oil and cannabis in your double-boiler or slow cooker, and heat the two together on low or warm for a few hours. This allows for decarboxylation (activation of THC) without scorching (which destroys the active ingredients). Cooking can be done a variety of ways: in a slow cooker on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally; in a double-boiler on low for at least 6 hours (8 is better), stirring occasionally; or in a simple saucepan on low for at least three hours, stirring frequently (a saucepan is most susceptible to scorching). In all cases, a small amount of water can be added to the mixture to help avoid burning. Note: whatever method you choose, temperature of the oil should not exceed 245°F.
    3. Strain and store the oil. Do not squeeze the cheesecloth; this will simply add more chlorophyll to your oil. All remaining plant material can be discarded or used in other dishes if you have the wherewithal. The oil’s shelf life is at least two months, and can be extended with refrigeration.

On a side note here, once you have your oil you can use it for so many things. Even a lubricant in the bedroom, seriously!

    Chocolate Covered Strawberries Directions:

But now back to the strawberries. The oil is the most time consuming part of this recipe.  Once you have your infused coconut oil all you need is some chocolate chips and some some strawberries.

    2 Steps left:

    1. Melt your chocolate chips and infused oil together. You can do stove top or microwave (I think stove top is better, but to each his own). Once melted let it sit til it reaches room temp.

    2. Dip the strawberries (or sliced bananas, I actually like those better) into the melted chocolate. And stick them in the frig.

    Alternative Option:

You can go even simpler and make some Canna Lovers Popcorn to munch on for the “Nexflix and Chill” style date!

    Love-Setting the Mood :

Finally the love. Just by remembering the day I’d say you pretty much got the love covered! What to do on the day, where’s it all going to go down?…well damn there are so many options. The classic dinner and a movie is always great ( just don’t go see the new fifty shades of grey, it sucks, they all suck) Laying outside looking up at the stars, classic romantic make out point stuff. Renting a hotel room, staying home?? It’s up to you. Like I said doing anything your pretty much good.

But if your trying to go above and beyond when you do end up back indoors eventually, light up a terp infused candle. As I explained in my last post Entourage in Full Effect these candles magnify the therapeutic benefits of the cannabis, in other words they get you higher! And who doesn’t wanna do that?

If you do a hotel or stay home, nothings sexier than a bubble bath for two and if you just happen to have yourself a CBD bath bomb that bubble bath can be oh so much better! With some intense relaxation that just melts all stress away.

By now I’m sure we are getting the picture here? Infused strawberries (maybe with some champagne), Terpene infused candle lit CBD bubble baths, heart shaped blunts containing a strain known for arousal?? Yeah, your getting it. Do one of them, do them all, just do something, even if it’s nothing on my stoner guide. That’s all a girl really wants. And if your single? This advice is still good. There’s way more room in the bathtub when your alone and sharing is something I’ve never been good at anyway, so why do you have to be? Spoil yourself!

Hope this post helps and you have yourselves a highly successful Valentines Day! ( Feb 14th)

I Got My Dogs High and They Liked It

Yes you read that right! I got my dogs high and they liked it! Turns out humans are not the only mammals with cannabinoid receptors, in fact most mammals do and you can definitely get your dogs high. However safety is of utmost importance.

The amount of cannabis given to your doggie is very important. There have actually been reports of dogs dying :

They have to ingest a pretty large amount of weed to actually die, Downing said, but it doesn’t necessarily take a lot to have an adverse effect.

But in the same breath, Cannabis can be especially helpful for older dogs suffering from hip dysplasia and glaucoma, common issues with a majority of older pets. It also helps to alleviate pain, stimulate appetite, and lead to a better quality of life. Cannabis-infused tincture is one of the best forms to cannabis to give to your pet.

I fact ,

The late Dr. Doug Kramer, known as the “Vet Guru” risked his career by promoting medical marijuana for dogs. He developed a homemade tincture for his very own dog that suffered from cancer. He realized the benefits she had from using marijuana which made her last few months much more comfortable. He started Enlightened Veterinary Therapeutics, the country’s first vet to offer medical marijuana for dogs and other pets.

Another great and safe option (also what I did) are these homemade cannabis infused dog treats! I made them for my dogs:

The the effects looked like this:

Followed by some napping,  silly dog smiles and munchies, they were so licking their chops for more! Plus, the pumpkin helps to alleviate any stomach issues, and promotes healthy digestions. Plus, it’s a great way to use any leftover jack-o-lanterns from Halloween!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cooked/canned pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered milk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tablespoon bacon grease (melted)
  • 3 Tablespoons cannabis butter (melted)
  •

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix your pumpkin, egg, and salt together.
  3. Slowly add a cup of flour at a time (until the consistency is more doughy, and less sticky)
  4. Roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thickness, and cut into shapes
  5. Bake for 20 minutes on one side, then turn over and bake another 20 minutes.
  6. Let the treat cool-down for 10 minutes before basting with melted bacon grease & cannabis butter.

Let’s even have our dogs lit! And Definitely check out The Weed Scene for some awesome recipes like this Dank Cheesecake:

that you might have already seen on my Instagram @Smokette_

Cannabutter: Yum

Recently my grandmother asked me for some Mary Jane but she didn’t want to smoke it so I had to find a way for her to have the full effect without having to smoke and so of course that means it was time to make edibles! It took some investigating but quickly it was clear that all one has to do to make edibles is make cannabutter. Once you have the cannabutter anything that you need butter for can be made into an edible. And I do mean anything; lasagna, mac and cheese, lollipops, pancakes, cookies, whatever.  There are other options too such as coconut oil but I took the butter route and this is how I did it:

Initially I followed this instructional video:

But just the cannabutter part and I did do it a little differently.

Things you need:

  • 1/2 oz of weed, buds or trim or both, also important to note here is the better the strain, the better the butter.
  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter

  • double boiler (of pot and a glass bowl that fits in the pot)
  • cheese cloth
  • strainer

This is how I did it:

  1. Before anything and not mentioned in the video you need to decarboxylate the bud by grinding it, putting it on a parchment paper and then in the oven at 220 degrees for 30 minutes to pull out the terpenes.
  2. Next the video says to wrap your weed in a cheese cloth, I’m sure you can but I didn’t. I just put water in a pot on the stove and start heating it on a low flame.
  3. Once my water was boiling I put a glass bowl in the pot with the water still heating under it and I chopped up my 2 sticks of butter and put it in the glass bowl.
  4. Once my butter melted I added one cup of water and my ground decarboxlated weed to the melted butter and put the lid on.
  5. Then I camped out in my kitchen for 2 hours stirring the weed with the butter every now and then, always checking there was water in the pot beneath the glass bowl (and refilling the water).
  6. 2 hours past and I put a cheese cloth on my strainer, then strained my melted bud filled butter into another bowl. (If you’re trying this out, just let gravity do the work, don’t squeeze the cheesecloth.) Then put that bowl in the frig and went to sleep.
  7. The next day I pulled out my solid cannabutter, separating it from the left over water on the bottom of the bowl and used it to make my grandma cookies.

For it being the first time I’ve ever done this, I did very good. I did use real kush bud, not trim and maybe that’s why my cookies were so strong. To say the least everyone, especially grandma felt the nice mellow stoned body high for hours! The next few days after I used what I had left over of my cannabutter to make eggs and pancakes and now I’m planning to figure out how to make coconut oil to make some chocolate covered something or at least some more butter to make a lasagna. For being a weed smoker, I’ve got to say it took a while to kick in but I loved the body high and how long it last. For me it starts with a tingling in my lips… and I feel literally “stoned” for hours. I think the cookie monster has been eating these for years because I can’t get the idea of “Cookiessss” (In the cookie monster voice) out of my mind. Definitely edibles are so worth the time it takes to make the cannabutter.  I highly recommend trying it out! Stay lit!
